I actually use several versions, the most ...Sharon,
I actually use several versions, the most favorite being the NIV84, ESV, and NRSV for different reasons. Long ago, I took a graduate course in Greek Exegesis in which we studied the book of Titus in Greek the entire semester. The translation, with whatever fault or merit it may have, is my own. There are a number of "issues" on which much is said that distracts us from preaching Christ and him crucified. I am saddened at the ease with which some seem to have given up on restoring New Testament Christianity. I have walked out of a service when I disagreed with something that took place. In this blog, I choose to focus on restoring hope in a world where we often forget how great a God we serve.Michael Summershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16717944421464954016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21527414.post-44933670659815149742013-05-25T07:35:42.186-07:002013-05-25T07:35:42.186-07:00What version of the Bible do you use? When I googled it, all that appeared was your blog here.

What do you consider "controversial topics"? Those who are out to change the Lord's church like to use these passages to quiet people who would expose them as twisting scripture. I am asking in earnest.
